Pig Livelihood Projects in Nepal

COVID-19 has profoundly transformed Nepal and the rest of South Asia, leaving lasting scars on their economies for years to come. The economic impact of the pandemic on livelihoods across Nepal is expected to be the most acute for informal workers and farmers who are more at risk of falling into extreme poverty.

In Nepal, Enlace works with churches and communities that have identified pig livelihood projects as a strategic way to help extremely vulnerable families that do not own enough land to plant crops. The projects will enable families to generate both income and food.
